February 2019 Ministerial Candidacy Declarations

Hello, I am here announcing my candidacy for Minister of Immigration for the Versutian Federation. For the past couple of weeks we have seen a stabilized Ministry where all recruiting officers have proper orders and know what to do. Under my leadership, the regional population has remained steady in the 80's, with it dipping in the last day due to a few CTEs, which are not the fault of recruits nor the Ministry. In the past week, more nations have joined the region than in the last two months combined, which is a great success. In addition, I have continued to push for more standardization within the Ministry, mainly, on when and how recruiting officers should be recruiting. We currently have two (and possibly more) recruiters using stamps and various others using manual recruitment. Each week, a batch of thousands of stamps are sent out throughout NS in the hopes of catching and retaining a handful of nations. This has been largely successful, as noted on our RMB and regional activity. I am currently trying to encourage recruiters to buy stamps and use as many as possible each week to reel in nations at a time, but not too much to the point where recruiters run out of stamps. Also, I am working with Asairia to procure an API recruitment system for TVF, which is guaranteed to greatly aid our recruitment efforts. Besides general recruitment, under my leadership (and hopefully future leadership over the Ministry) there is a higher emphasis on the process of integration. I have written and pinned an integration strategy sheet which carefully details how nations should properly welcome a new nation to the region. Recruitment does not end when the targeted nation joins the region. Nor does it end when they become a citizen. Making sure that all citizens are active, their nations do not CTE, and that they are interested in partaking in more regional activities still lie in the duties of the Ministry of Immigration. After a new nation joins, it is our job to make sure they not only feel welcome, but that they are eager to participate in politics, RP, games, etc. Under my leadership, there has been this higher emphasis on integration as I encourage all nations to join together in making sure that every new nation assimilates into our unique community. This is a position that is extremely important to me and one that I have served before for quite some time. I know the recruitment and integration process, and if you give me a chance, I will not let you down. I took over this Ministry to save it from destruction, and I will deliver on the several promises that I have made. We have already seen progress, and if you give me a chance to serve out an entire term, even greater progress will be made. This is something I ensure every citizen and every future citizen.
